Official Candidates set for Upcoming Elections in Holly Springs
Six Council Candidates, Two Mayoral Hopefuls Qualify for Holly Springs' November 2025 Municipal Elections
Holly Springs, NC, August 4, 2025 — Voters in Holly Springs will head to the polls this November to elect a mayor and fill three at-large seats on the Town Council. The non-partisan municipal election drew a total of eight candidates, two for mayor and six for council, who met the eligibility requirements and filed by the official July 18th deadline to appear on the ballot. Each campaign has also submitted a Mid-Year disclosure report (links below) to the North Carolina State Board of Elections, outlining financial activity through the midpoint of the year.
This year’s election will help shape the town’s leadership for the next four years amid continued population growth and development across southern Wake County.

The 2025 Holly Springs municipal election will take place on Tuesday, November 4. All registered voters residing in the town may vote for Mayor and up to three Town Council candidates. Submitting an optional one-time column (e.g., “Why I’m Running”) for publication.
Being included in Q&A articles or coverage of public events and forums, as deemed newsworthy.
All published content will be clearly labeled, and editorial standards will ensure no submission contains false claims or personal attacks. Holly Springs Update may cover forums and appearances based on community interest and news value, not as a guaranteed service to candidates.
