New Nonprofit Launches to Champion the Arts in Holly Springs
Arts Holly Springs celebrates local creativity and kicks off with a downtown Art Walk on Sept. 19, featuring four host businesses and a call for artists to showcase their work.
Holly Springs, NC, Sep. 5, 2025 — Holly Springs has a new nonprofit dedicated to celebrating and growing the local arts scene. Arts Holly Springs (website), officially launched this month, aims to support local artists, welcome creative businesses, and build a vibrant hub of cultural activity downtown.
“We envision Holly Springs as a thriving hub of creativity where artists and community members connect, and the arts help drive both cultural and economic growth.”
- AsheLee Bonham Gahagan, Chair of Arts Holly Springs and founder of the Ashe School of Music.
The nonprofit’s first event, an Art Walk through downtown Holly Springs, is set for Friday, September 19, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event will be hosted across four local businesses: Ashe School of Music, Wine 100, Local Time Brewing, and Fusion Development.
Organizers say the evening will be a lively opportunity to explore works from a community of local visual artists while supporting the downtown business district. “Our mission is to celebrate and support our local artists, welcome new creative businesses, and build a vibrant arts scene that enriches everyone,” Gahagan added.
