MyComputerCareer's HQ project to benefit Holly Springs
Planned for a 20-acre site near Ting Park, the project includes an 80,000-square-foot professional office and 11,500-square-feet of retail space
Approved by the Holly Springs Town Council in March 2022, MyComputerCareer’s development project holds significant potential for the community. Planned for a 20-acre site at 1317 N. Main Street near Ting Park, the project includes an 80,000-square-foot professional office and an 11,500-square-foot retail space, aiming to serve as the headquarters for the IT career training institution. This development could create over 200 IT, administrative, retail, and service jobs, contributing to local economic growth.
The project’s design features a performing arts theater and affordable housing, reflecting a vision for community-centered growth. The performing arts theater could provide a cultural venue for residents, offering space for events and performances, while affordable housing aligns with Holly Springs’ goal of fostering an inclusive environment that accommodates diverse income levels.
Holly Springs Mayor Sean Mayefskie praised the project’s alignment with the town’s growth ambitions at its approval, viewing it as an opportunity to attract new talent, businesses, and investments. Local business owners also see the potential for increased foot traffic, which could benefit nearby stores and restaurants, fostering a ripple effect of economic activity in the area.
The project represents a promising vision for Holly Springs, potentially elevating the town’s profile as a technology and community life center. Residents are hopeful that MyComputerCareer’s planned headquarters will bring new opportunities, innovation, and cultural resources to Holly Springs in the coming years.
