HollyFest Returns This Saturday (Oct. 25th): Food, Fun, and Community Spirit at Sugg Farm
Annual festival returns to Sugg Farm Park on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring local vendors, food, kids’ activities, live entertainment, and beer garden favorites.
Holly Springs, Oct. 22, 2025 — The Town of Holly Springs’ signature community event, HollyFest, returns to Sugg Farm Park at Bass Lake this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The free, family-friendly festival celebrates the people, businesses, and organizations that make Holly Springs a vibrant and welcoming community.
Whether enjoying local food, browsing handmade goods, or chatting with town council candidates, HollyFest captures the essence of Holly Springs, a close-knit, thriving town that takes pride in its people and spirit.
Organized by the Town’s Parks & Recreation Department, HollyFest offers something for everyone, from live local entertainment and food to free rides and inflatables for kids. The annual event is one of Holly Springs’ most popular gatherings, drawing thousands of residents and visitors each fall.
What to Expect
This year’s HollyFest features:
- More than 50 local artisans and business exhibitors
- Over 25 food vendors offering everything from festival favorites to local specialties
- Free rides and inflatables for children (activities)
- Live entertainment throughout the day featuring community group performances, line dancing, and demonstrations (activities)
- Meet & Greet opportunities with candidates running for Holly Springs mayor and town council seats in the upcoming November municipal elections, giving residents a chance to speak directly with those seeking to lead the town.
Local vendors and businesses say the event provides an excellent opportunity to connect with residents.
“I’m looking forward to being part of HollyFest this weekend,” said Frank McGoldrick, owner of Frankie Frankk’s Hot Dog Cart (website). “Not only is it a great place to celebrate Holly Springs, it’s also a great place to get a taste of what makes it the best place, period.”
The event also includes a business expo, giving residents a chance to meet local entrepreneurs and service providers.
Beer Throughout the Festival Grounds
Building on last year’s successful beer garden, this year’s HollyFest allows attendees to enjoy beer throughout the entire event footprint.
- All alcoholic beverages must be consumed within the festival area and cannot be taken outside the event upon exit.
- Outside alcohol is prohibited.
- Upon purchasing beer, guests will receive both a stamp and a wristband, which must be worn while walking around the event with their drink.
Parking, Drop-Offs, and Traffic Flow
Festival-goers are asked to be cautious of pedestrians in and around Sugg Farm Park, where multiple exits and traffic routes will help ease congestion.
- Blooming Meadows Road / Stinson Exit: Use Blooming Meadows Road to Stinson Avenue.
- Grigsby Exit: Open for exiting vehicles at all times; connects to Main Street and on to Holly Springs Road or NC 55.
- Teal Lake Exit: Open for exiting vehicles at all times; connects directly to NC 55.
To help traffic flow, parking will be prohibited on neighborhood streets adjacent to Sugg Farm.
