Happening Tonight (July 5): Fireworks, Funk & Family Fun at Holly Springs’ Independence Day Celebration
Live music, food trucks, and one of the area's best fireworks shows highlight the town’s free event at Sugg Farm.
Holly Springs, NC, Jul. 5, 2025 — In a spirited post–Fourth of July gathering, Holly Springs Parks & Recreation invites residents to celebrate America at the July 5 Independence Day Celebration at Sugg Farm. The event is free and family-friendly, featuring live music, food trucks, lawn games, and a fireworks display (weather permitting).
📅 Date & Time: Tonight, Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
🎇 Fireworks Display: Scheduled to begin at approximately 9:15 p.m., but may be postponed in the event of inclement weather.
🎶 Live Music: Livehouse takes the stage from 6:00–9:00 p.m., delivering a dance-friendly mix of Soul, Funk, House, Rock, Disco, and Country. Their energetic performance promises to get the crowd moving.

Attendees are encouraged to pack smart and follow all guidelines to ensure the evening is enjoyable and safe for everyone.

Lawn chairs and blankets
Outdoor games
Water, snacks, and coolers (non-alcoholic only)
Leashed dogs (be respectful of crowds and noise)

Balloons, drones, and personal fireworks
Smoking or vaping
Weapons of any kind
Large bags (subject to search)
Unauthorized vendors
🚗 Parking, Access & Getting There
On-site parking is available at Sugg Farm (2401 Grigsby Ave.), with limited space for vehicles. In 2024, lots were full by early evening. This year’s crowd is expected to be even larger, so plan to arrive early.
Parking Restrictions:
No parking is allowed in the surrounding neighborhoods.
Walking, biking, or carpooling is strongly encouraged.
The Carl G. Dean Greenway will close at 8:45 p.m. for fireworks safety.
Exiting the Event:
After the fireworks, attendees will be directed to exit via Blooming Meadows/Stinson, Grigsby/Main, or Teal Lake/NC 55.
For smoother pick-up, especially for those not staying for the fireworks, use Womble Park as a designated meeting spot.


💧 Safety & Support Services
Hydration stations and misting tents will be available to help guests stay cool.
First aid and lost & found will be located near the main entrance at the Police & Fire tents.
Drop-off/pick-up zones are clearly marked—drop-offs should follow signs near the field and exit via Teal Lake Drive.
