I can't count the number of times I've been driving past something and see an event is currently going on, that I had absolutely no idea about. Particularly events that are going on in the Ting parking lot or other event in the stadium or soccer fields. If you type in Ting on the city website, none of these events are ever listed unless it's an actual city sponsored/run event. What about all the other private events that occur and are seemingly advertised out there somewhere but not where I'm looking apparently. The same thing for Sugg Park and other events locally. I went to First Watch one morning and there was a huge car event out front in the parking lot, so apparently if you're not part of the cars and coffee group, you'll never know that it's occuring unless you happen just to go by there. Stuff like that
How about adding a community calendar section for local non-profit activities and events that people can submit.
Good idea! I am on the road right now but will certainly work on this when I return to Holly Springs later this week.
