Economic Development Director Irena Krstanovic presented the agreement (document) during the meeting, describing the project as “a great fit for our community” and emphasizing its role in diversifying Holly Springs’ growing life-sciences sector.

“We are excited that, via a joint press release between the Town of Holly Springs, Wake County, and the company, Ypsomed has announced that they will be locating their first North American manufacturing facility in Holly Springs,” Krstanovic told the council. “They will be investing $195 million and bringing 62 high-paying jobs to our community by occupying the existing building that is part of our YIELD Holly Springs development.”

Agreement Details

Under the EDA, Ypsomed will receive a Business Investment Grant equal to 50 percent of town property taxes paid each year on the new taxable value it creates, for a period of eight years, with a maximum value of $2.68 million.
